Boisterous Berlin - The City Of Never Ending Opportunities

Cheap Car Hire Berlin

Berlin's Gastronomy
Last year, I visited Berlin with my husband. We rented a studio in a bohemian neighborhood in Berlin’s old East, in Prenzlauer Berg, and stayed for 2 days/3 nights there. A city of boho bars, foodies' temples and all-night running restaurants, as it is called often, Berlin literally serves its visitors with endless opportunities.

'No matter what time of the year you will arrive, we will be more than happy to serve with you with all needed drinks and snacks. We are open till the wee hours of the morning' - says an ultra modern waiter at a restaurant located in a cavernous converted brewery.

Don't tuck into such places early at 10 PM, yes it's considered early in Berlin, else you will make a bad show. The city is less maniacal than New York and quite cheaper than Paris. And most importantly, it has bustling nightlife, delicious dining and enchanting history.

At Mogg & Melzer, a small Jewish restaurant located at former Jewish girls’ school right next to Pauly Saal, you will find some really good options for vegetarian lunch; however they are not as famous as its home-smoked pastrami, which is dished up with a piece of history. The noticeboard in the main hall of the place will tell you how the school was shut in 1942. A wonderfully balanced interior design and admirable artworks make it a perfect place to have a lunch at.

Berlin Film Festival 2013
For many, Berlin is the city of muses, museums and maestros. The 63rd annual Berlin International Film Festival recently took place in the city from 7 to17th February 2013, and turned out to be a big crowd-puller event for the city. Meanwhile, the top gourmet markets across the city impressed the international visitors, including some renowned movie stars, with their fabulous food.

If you have watched the movie named "The Lives Of Others", an excellent movie by Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck, then I am sure you will fondly remember Berlin as the hometown of the protagonist, Georg Dreyman.

Berlin is a captivating holiday spot where you can enjoy pleasant mornings and rainy afternoons awaiting evening excursions. The city center is packed with bars, clubs, cafes and chic shops. The area is extremely popular amongst artists, students and media professionals, as it houses many historical structures.

Berlin City Center - The Heart Of The City
To the east of the city center near the Oberbaumbrücke on banks of the river spree is the Berlin Wall, a large stretch of intact Wall which is actually a barrier constructed by the German Democratic Republic in 1961 during world-war II period.Underground commune to the city center will bring you to the place in just 10 minutes. You also get a car hire in Berlin to visit a large number of museums and monuments at your own pace and comfort.

Regardless if you are looking for a highly sophisticated spot to dine at or a quirky bohemian bar or chic cafe, the city has numerous choices. I recommend my readers to get into cheap car hire Berlin to explore all the city has for its visitors, without compromising on your freedom!
